Born and raised in Cincinnati, Marty received an appointment to the Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. On his graduation, he entered the Marine Corps, retiring after 22 years of service. He has traveled the world, training leaders and executives and serving as a 360 performance feedback coach.
