Advocacy in Action

At MCUL & Affiliates, our focus will remain on removing the barriers that inhibit credit unions from effectively serving the communities in which they operate. Together with CUNA, we are continually working to reduce regulatory burdens at the state and federal levels. While significant challenges exist at the national level, we must set forth a bold agenda designed to make a positive impact for credit unions.

Advocacy Results

To succeed in this dynamic environment, it is critical that we speak with a single voice as we work to advance the credit union movement. None of us can afford to sit on the sidelines. To achieve our goals, we need everyone to do their part.

Education for Compliance

We know how important it is for both professional staff and volunteers to stay on top of the latest trends in the credit union industry and to keep abreast of key developments in the larger financial services landscape. MCUL and CUNA have assembled a library of resources, training tools and conferences designed to spur creative thinking, challenge assumptions and chart a course for a successful tomorrow.

Compliance Tools

Successful compliance management systems allow your staff to proactively identify issues and work with key stakeholders to creatively address challenges. We provide a wide range of high-quality and affordable compliance solutions that are designed to “meet you where you are,” regardless of size or sophistication.

Examination Support

For many credit union professionals, regulatory exams evoke feelings of angst and trepidation. Credit unions—as clients of regulatory agencies—should look forward to exam reports as helpful tools designed to highlight possible improvements. We have exceptional state and federal regulators that are dedicated and committed, but in even the best of circumstances, we can ask for and expect more from ourselves and our regulators.
