While MCUL & Affiliates offers tremendous quality, selection and low prices on educational events, some of the best values in training can be found at the MCUL & Affiliates Annual Convention and Exposition. The event takes place June 5-7 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place in Grand Rapids.
The event features keynote presentations, breakout sessions, networking and entertainment. A three-day full-conference registration package (including two meals, two receptions and breaks) is just $339 per person (only $284 per person for the sixth registrant or more). One- and two-day registration options are also a great value at $150 per day, and offer an ideal alternative for area commuters or for reducing the need of hotel accommodations.
As an added bonus, any credit union that registers at least one full-conference attendee for the AC&E also receives one complimentary admission for another individual to attend the INSIDE Credit Union Compliance event, which takes place Thursday, June 5 (limit one per credit union). The event agenda includes "Must Know Info: Trusts, Fiduciary and Representative Accounts," "Rock the Regulations," "#CUadvertising-get-with-it" and a "ComplySight Demonstration." Regularly priced at $129 per person, registration also includes admittance to the AC&E Exposition Marketplace and to the Welcome Reception at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. For an additional $36, participants may also purchase a ticket to the Economic Issues luncheon taking place that day.
There are other opportunities for credit unions to make training and attending the AC&E more affordable. Financial assistance is available to SAS credit unions through the Michigan CU Foundation. The league also works closely with event sponsors to add value to the AC&E. It also works hard with host hotels to secure competitively priced room accommodations and to hold down costs of food and beverage expenses, all to deliver the most affordable training and networking experiences possible.
Training is an investment and MCUL & Affiliates works hard to maintain low registration rates, while offering top-rate information and experiences, without the added expense of out-of-state travel. To learn more about the 2014 AC&E, click here.
