Fall Leadership Development Conference Featuring Regulatory Compliance Topics 

The popular Fall Leadership Development Conferences for credit union volunteers and CEOs will take place at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, Friday-Sunday, Sept. 13-15 and a regulatory roundtable panel discussion and compliance topic breakout sessions are certain to be a big draw for attendees coming to the event. A “Meet the Regulatory Panel” featuring John Kolhoff from the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services and Martha Powell from the NCUA will provide attendees a state and federal update on matters of regulatory concern. A number of compliance topics are also slated, including “Practical Policy Pointers,” “It’s Going to Hit the Bottom Line: The Financial Impact of Regulatory Compliance,” “Bank Secrecy Act for Directors” and “Assessing Risk: It’s the Law,” plus an optional “Compliance Discussion” session.
