Victor Miguel Corro

Víctor has more than 10 years of experience working with credit unions in the United States and overseas. Through his work at the World Council of Credit Unions, he has been involved with international credit union partnerships that include legislative advocacy training, software development and implementation, and lobbying foreign governments to formulate credit union-specific regulation and legislation. He also has experience with targeted internships for credit union staff in cross-cultural environments, operations, and creating awareness, understanding and training programs for U.S. credit union staff in marketing to potential Hispanic membership.

Matt Dean
Matt is the President and CEO of Trabian, an Indianapolis-based web development firm whose clients include some of the most innovative groups in the industry, including Stanford Federal Credit Union, NIH FCU, the NCUF and the Filene Research Institute. Matt speaks nationally on technology and marketing at credit union conferences, and enjoys sharing his passion for using social media to connect with Gen Y. Matt holds a degree in computer engineering from Texas A&M University.

Tom Leduc
Tom, who earned a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Wayne State University and Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the federal courts. He specializes in financial institution regulatory compliance, and has lectured and written on a wide range of topics, including federal consumer protection regulatory compliance, state and federal credit union regulatory compliance, Bank Secrecy Act compliance and bankruptcy law. Tom is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association and serves on the board of directors for Michigan Services Credit Union.

Lee Ann Mares
Lee Ann is vice president of CU Growth Solutions, a full-service marketing communications division of CUcorp. Additionally, she is the executive director for MCUL’s Cooperative Advertising Forum. With many years of experience in financial services, marketing consulting, strategic planning and brand development, Lee Ann’s approach is to turn intricate concepts into simple, practical business solutions. 

Larry Mersereau
Smart credit union leaders know who to turn to for the strategies and tactics they need to bring in more members, more loans and more assets: Larry Mersereau, CTC. A branding and promotion expert, Larry authors books and audio programs, consults with select clients, and speaks to dozens of business audiences, including many credit union leagues, every year. Educated at Drake University, he remains an avid student of marketing and human psychology. He’s worked for large organizations and small ones, in a broad variety of industries, and has owned a number of his own businesses. Some have been raging successes, while others have been...learning experiences. He’ll share the lessons learned from both, applied specifically to the unique challenges faced by your credit union. You’ll have a good time with Larry, but more importantly, you’ll take home real-world information and ideas you can put to work immediately.
