MCUL & Affiliates Launches Positively Michigan campaign (Misc News: May 18, 2011)
The MCUL & Affiliates and Michigan credit unions have launched a campaign called Positively Michigan! to promote all of the good things in Michigan.
The idea is to gather ideas about all of the great things about Michigan and send them to Gov. Rick Snyder.
The league rolled out the campaign as Gov. Rick Snyder took the stage at the AC&E in Grand Rapids on Thursday. Snyder was surprised and impressed.
"I love that campaign because that's what it's about, being positive in Michigan," Snyder said. Later in his speech, he added that his staff has made the positive message into an acronym - RPA for relentlessly positive attitude - that they use in daily conversation around the office.
In the video, MCUL CEO David Adams said "great ideas can come from anybody."
"Michigan residents are able to submit positive ideas for helping Michigan at this newly created website," Adams said.
The website is positivelymich.com. The video is posted below.
