OFIR Names New Deputy Commissioner of the Credit Union Division (Misc News: January 7, 2011)
John Kolhoff is the new deputy commissioner of the Credit Union Division for OFIR. He replaces Roger Little, who retired at the end of the year.
"John has a wealth of experience, a broad knowledge base and great familiarity with Michigan credit unions,” said OFIR Commissioner Ken Ross. “I am confident that he will continue the long tradition that Michigan has had as a leader in progressive credit union regulation."
Kolhoff has worked for the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation since 1994. He has held various positions gaining extensive experience in depository institution analysis, information technology, as well as the risk-based examination process. He became assistant director of the Credit Union Division in 2003.
Kolhoff graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in accounting. John lives in Mount Pleasant, with his son Sean and daughter Kaitlin.
