CRI Survey Deadline Is Friday, Oct. 29 (Monitor: October 25, 2010)
The MCUL's Community Reinvestment Initiative (CRI), conceived to educate lawmakers of the credit union difference and counter pressure from banks to bring credit unions under CRA requirements is available until this Friday, Oct. 29.
The CRI Survey is the basis for much of the information in the CRI Annual Report which is taken to lawmakers during the CUNA GAC and used for advocacy and marketing throughout the year. To ensure high-quality data, the league encourages all Michigan credit unions to complete the 2010 CRI survey.
This year the MCUL worked to make the survey more concise. While those credit unions that have completed the survey in previous years will be familiar with many questions, others have been shortened or removed based on feedback received from the 2009 survey. Therefore, the time necessary to complete the survey has been reduced.
The CRI Survey is now online and will be available until Oct. 29, 2010. Credit union CEOs or their designee can complete the survey by clicking here and logging in using their MCUL password for accessing the secure portions of the MCUL website. If you have problems accessing the CRI Survey or have questions as you complete the survey, please e-mail Stacy Dugan, CRI Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
