CUSBFA Rolls Out; Coverage in Detroit Free Press (Monitor: May 10, 2010)
The Credit Union Small Business Financing Alliance kicked off on May 3 and has officially launched its website. The partnership provides access to credit, consulting, training and education to small business owners and entrepreneurs through the MI Small Business Technology Development Centers (MI-SBTDC), which have regional offices throughout the state.
The website has information for businesses and entrepreneurs as well as credit unions and CUSOs. It explains how to become a participating credit union, how the MI-SBTCDs work, the risk mitigation tools available, and other areas. Entrepreneurs will find information on how to get started in CUSBFA and other resources useful to small business owners.
Visit www.cusbfa.com to view the resources and information available to the specific types of participants. For additional information please contact MCUL Director of Governmental Affairs Jordan Kingdon at Jordan.Kingdon@mcul.org; or MCUL Director of Cooperative Initiatives Martha Ninichuk at Martha.Ninichuk@mcul.org.
