Strategic Loan Growth to be Discussed at Executive Summit 

Credit union CEOs and executive management team members have already begun to register and book accommodations for the MCUL & Affiliates Executive Summit, taking place Sept. 17-19 at the Inn at Bay Harbor, near Petoskey.

Attendees have the option of golfing on Wednesday, Sept. 17, or enjoying a pre-event session titled, "Get More Strategic About Loan Growth and Profitability" facilitated by Celeste C. Cook, CEO/founder of cuStrategies. 

Cook will address what forward-thinking leaders do to strategically strengthen their loan portfolio, minimize risk and increase loan growth and profitability by rethinking, outthinking and innovating. She will share what successful credit unions having been doing to be innovative and responsive to the needs of consumers and how to strategize to build a strong loan portfolio for long-term sustainability. 

Other topics on the agenda include "Key Issues Dialog & E-Scan," "Payments Update,"  "Spotlight on Advia Credit Union" and a "Regulator Panel and Q&A." The event is being presented in partnership with CUES, which will be hosting a networking reception. 

The Inn at Bay Harbor features a variety of room accommodations, with limited availability based on size and view. Attendees are encouraged to secure hotel reservations early and begin registering now
