Prepare Staff to Remember Procedures and Details in Robbery, Emergency and More

Under the best of circumstances, it is easy for anyone to forget certain details in following procedures or being able to describe information about people’s appearances. Yet memory can be improved and, with training, credit union staffers can become better at remembering names and faces, numbers, procedures and even important details during a stressful emergency situation.

Credit union professionals who attended the MCUL & Affiliates Annual Convention and Exposition last year were so impressed by what they learned from memory expert and author Paul Mellor, they unanimously requested his training be repeated and made available to their colleagues.

Now Mellor returns to deliver two, half-day Memory Magic workshops on Oct. 22 in Lathrup Village. For just $99 per person, credit unions can register staffers for either a morning or afternoon session. Additional information and online registration is available here.

Submissions to Monitor may be emailed. Bryan Laviolette is the editor of Monitor. Contact him by email or call (800) 262-6285, ext. 233. The newsletter of the Michigan Credit Union League is published Monday mornings or Tuesday mornings when Monday is a holiday. There is no Monitor the week after Christmas and the week after the Annual Convention and Exposition. The MCUL reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity and space.
