Editorís note

There will be no Monitor newsletter on May 20 because MCUL & Affiliates staff will be at the Annual Convention and Exposition at the Detroit Marriott Hotel at the Renaissance Center this week. Monitor will return on May 28, a day later than normal since May 27 is Memorial Day. We'll have a CUBE TV video wrapup of AC&E in the May 28 issue.

Attendees to be Positively Connected by Excitement, Energy and Insights as AC&E Rolls Into Motown
This is the week that credit union professional from across the state wait for every year...the MCUL & Affiliates Annual Convention and Exposition takes place this Thursday-Saturday, May 16-18.

While seating is now limited at select activities, last-minute decision makers may still register onsite at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, at the Registration and Information desk located on the hotel's fourth level in the Renaissance Foyer. Those who are already signed up should check in at this same location to pick up their conference badge and materials upon arrival.

This year's conference boasts two outstanding keynote speakers. Friday features Michigan entrepreneur and ePrize founder Josh Linkner and Saturday attendees will hear from Steve Gilliland, author of the bestselling book Enjoy the Ride.

The AC&E is packed with training ideal for all credit union executives, volunteers and staffers, and offers a tremendous value. Those interested in commuting to the conference and saving on hotel costs, can easily register for one- or two-day attendance options and take advantage of nearby discounted parking.
