...Attorney Chuck Holzman will be on hand April 30 to deliver a webinar on Business Accounts. The session will review account agreements and items relevant to non-natural person accounts, as well as the various types of legal entities, membership eligibility issues and more. The session takes place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (EST). Registration is $169 per connection, which includes a complimentary archive that may be downloaded, saved and shared with peers. ...On May 7 an audio session on Handling Objections will take place from 11 a.m. to noon (EST) in cooperation with the Illinois CU League. As objections are part of the sales process, attendees will learn how to prevent objections from arising in the first place, how to respond to an objection, different ways to ask for the business and how to close a sale. ...Bankruptcy will be the topic of a May 9 audio session that will look at why members are still filing for bankruptcy at an alarming rate. From the basics of bankruptcy terms, to the most common landmines, to maximizing recovery methods in collections, this program walks the credit union professional through the complicated world of bankruptcy in an easy to understand (and retain) format.
