Smart Perspective Forums and Dialog get the Conversations Started at AC&E

Michigan credit union professionals will be very impressed by the agenda and training topics being offered at this year's MCUL & Affiliates Annual Convention and Exposition, taking place May 16-18 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

New this year is a series of "Smart Perspective Forums and Dialog" sessions set for on Thursday, May 16, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The forums will be facilitated by industry professionals, many who will be presenting educational breakout sessions earlier that same day. The dialog sessions are designed to reach beyond the formal topic-presentations, providing an opportunity for exchange between peers and for candid idea sharing.

"Smart Perspective Forums and Dialog" session topics include "Lending," "How to Become a Mentor," "Healthcare," "Consumer Behavior" and "Why a Merger? Peer Insights." Of these related topics, "Key Lending Strategies for Growth, Profitability and Retention," "Warning! 1/1/14 Can be Hazardous to Healthcare Budgets," "How Credit Unions Can Become Member Mentors!” and "Disruptive Technology" will be presented earlier in the day by "Forum and Dialog" speakers.

This year's AC&E features more than 30 breakout sessions, in addition to keynote and general sessions and the new "Credit Union Roundtable Sessions" on large- and small-asset size credit union topics.
