Encourage Colleagues Under 30 to Apply Now to ‘Crash’ AC&E

What does it take to "Crash" a major convention, to get a foot in the door to understanding a global cooperative, to finding like-minded peers building credit union careers or to meeting thought-leaders in the financial services industry? Well, it starts with asking a supervisor for approval and then completing an online application.

Once again, MCUL & Affiliates, in sponsorship with CUNA Mutual Group and in collaboration with The Cooperative Trust, is supporting "Crash Michigan" an opportunity for up-and-coming Michigan credit union staffers under age 30 to receive complimentary admission to the League's Annual Convention and Exposition. Now in its third year in Michigan, selected applicants receive a registration scholarship to the event, as a way to engage the next generation of credit union leaders by educating and growing young talent. Crashers participate in development opportunities, mentorships and peer idea-sharing, while attending events on the AC&E agenda and a Crash agenda.

Applications to participate are being accepted until March 22 and as many as ten individuals will be selected to attend the AC&E, taking place May 16-18 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
