Demand for Bank Secrecy Act Training Fulfilled; Webinar Discount Offered and Session at Spring Conference

One of the training topics MCUL & Affiliates is most frequently asked to provide, is continual updates for staff and volunteers regarding their responsibilities related to the Bank Secrecy Act ... and for good reason.

The Bank Secrecy Act is far more than a reporting regulation and reaches into every department of the credit union. To help credit unions determine if they are acting as a hero – helping the United States to combat terrorism – or as a pawn – falling victim to the devious plots of terrorists and lawbreakers, MCUL is offering a webinar on the topic Feb. 26 and repeats again on July 25. The webinars are offered at the discount price of just $49 per connection, and each comes with a complimentary archive that may be downloaded, saved and shared. Following each session, the recordings will be available for purchase as Webinars on Demand.

In addition to the webinars, attendees at the MCUL & Affiliates Spring Leadership Development Conference will find a session on the Bank Secrecy Act that is tailored to the informational needs of volunteers and management. The event takes place March 15-17 at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant.
