Agenda at Spring Leadership Development Conference Attracting CEOs and Volunteers to Popular Mount Pleasant Destination 

It's cold outside and CEOs and volunteers are looking ahead to spring and to spending the weekend of March 15-17 at the Spring Leadership Development Conference to attain important training. The popular event is at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant and limited rooms are available at a negotiated rate for attendees interested in staying at the nearby Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel, a new, nearby facility providing family-friendly fun.

This year's agenda is packed-full of vital training including CFPB updates, Bank Secrecy Act information and CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program topics. A CEO Roundtable on CFPB is proving to be important, with more than a dozen Michigan CEOs already signed up.

The event provides plenty of casual networking opportunities, including an exciting dinner banquet with an Irish-theme and a dance troupe ready to perform as well as let attendees try out a few Celtic dance steps.

Participants and their guests may also choose to spend some creative time crafting a moveable magnets keepsake board, based on the art of Michigan native Carol Roeda. The Saturday afternoon workshop provides materials and instruction for a memorable take-away to be treasured long after the conference.
