Register Volunteers and CEO Now for Spring Leadership Development Conference

An informational packet has been sent to all affiliated Michigan credit union CEOs to share with their volunteers, and online registration is now open for the 2013 Spring Leadership Development Conference taking place March 15-17 at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant.

Featuring a top-notch agenda of topics that is expected to draw very strong attendance from credit union volunteers and CEOs, the keynote address will be delivered by well-known financial industry consultant Tim Harrington on the topic "Are You a Credit Union of the Future?" Harrington will be joined by a panel of three Michigan credit union professionals and will also deliver two breakout sessions at the conference, "Putting the Credit Back into Credit Unions" and "Leadership and Succession Planning for the Board" – all sessions that were chosen based on feedback from past conference attendees.

The event takes place on St. Patrick's Day weekend and will feature a specially themed dinner banquet, complete with Celtic dancers. Credit unions are encouraged to make hotel reservations soon and reminded that negotiated rates are available at both the Soaring Eagle Resort and the new nearby Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel until Feb. 21. More information about the event and registration may be located by clicking here.
