Regulatory Update II Webinar Covers Current Compliance Topics

Remittance transfers, the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and the required change-in-terms notice for credit cards are just a few of the topics that will be covered in the upcoming MCUL & Affiliates Regulatory Update II webinar, taking place Oct. 30, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The popular webinar, offered twice yearly, features attorneys Veronica Madsen and Tom Leduc who will cover an agenda packed-full of timely regulatory compliance issues. Multi-featured lending products will be discussed, as well as the expanded definition of “rural district” for FOM applications and upcoming mortgage proposals. Topics specific to state chartered credit unions will include small claims law, the OFIR letter regarding indirect lending fees and new CUSO authority pertinent to venture capital investments.

The webinar is available for just $129 per Internet connection and is half-off, just $64.50, for those credit unions who have participated in three compliance related webinars and register for this as a fourth. Each webinar registrant will receive access to a complimentary archive, which is available to download, save and share for permanent 24/7 reference. For registration and more details, click here.
