Regardless of location, credit unions throughout Michigan have been faced with the added challenge of collecting debt from members during economically difficult times. While members have been negatively affected by the current credit crunch, credit unions remain in a unique position to assist, but there is still a lot to know about the advanced collections aspects and legalities of collections.
To provide insights into these topics and to answer questions, MCUL & Affiliates is offering two Collector's Training Schools in collaboration with the Collections Consortium. The first school takes place May 2 at the Doubletree Hotel in Dearborn/Detroit and the second takes place at the Holiday Inn in Marquette. Registration is just $199 per person, with an added $30 savings for early registration.
