CRI Programs and Initiatives

The MCUL, through the Community Reinvestment Initiative, offers turnkey solutions for credit unions to implement products and services for those consumers using high cost alternative financial services such as payday lenders, check cash providers and tax filing services.  CRI products and services offered are tailored to save the consumer money and at the same time provide an opportunity for the consumer to learn how to begin to build personal wealth through credit union financial education and counseling.

 

 

Michigan Small Business Financing Alliance Join the more than 30 Michigan credit unions have already committed an initial $43 million for small business loans that will benefit more than 2,000 new businesses.
Save to Win is an innovative prize-linked savings program at select Michigan credit unions that provides an incentive to save by offering the chance to win prizes while you save. 
Just file it!  The Michigan Credit Union League partners with the iCan program to provide a free online tax preparation service for credit union  members and non-members.
