Bodies Revealed – Grand Rapids Public Museum This exhibit showcases the intricate workings of the human anatomy via 13 plastinated bodies and several preserved body parts and systems. The odorless exhibit -- which aims to educate the public about their bodies, promote positive lifestyle choices and spotlight pressing health concerns -- is made possible using a polymer preservation process that utilizes liquid silicone rubber to prevent the decaying process. Betty Ford: An Extraordinary Life – Gerald R. Ford Museum The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum offers an entire gallery to First Lady Betty Ford. But the Museum's collection contains so much more. Pulling from its strengths, Betty Ford - An Extraordinary Life, will feature those items that speak to Mrs. Ford's unique life - from her Grand Rapids upbringing to a career in fashion and dance, to a congressman's wife, First Lady of the land, to helping millions with breast cancer awareness and overcoming for herself and helping others defeat chemical dependency. This exhibit offers a rare opportunity to see the collection of one of America's most admired First Ladies. Diana: A Celebration – Grand Rapids Art Museum More than a decade after her death, Princess Diana's memory still stirs interest and emotion. The exhibition presents the life and humanitarian work of one of the 20th century's most remarkable women through nine galleries containing 150 objects-ranging from her royal wedding gown and 28 of her designer dresses to family heirlooms, personal mementoes, paintings and rare home movies and photos.
