Michael is with the law firm of Kotz, Sangster, Wysocki and Berg, P.C. and represents business clients on a variety of legal matters including business structuring, labor and employment issues, acquisitions and expansion, and contract review and negotiation. He has recently advised multiple clients to help develop and implement strategies for downsizing at the upper management level.
Thomas R. Bowen
Tom is an attorney with Bowen, Radabaugh & Milton, P.C. in Troy, focusing on employment law, insurance defense, general tort defense and credit union legal issues. He and has been named a "Michigan Super Lawyer" the past three years for being one of the top attorneys in the state. He possesses a bachelor's of arts from Michigan State University and a juris doctor, cum laude from the Detroit College of Law.
Linda Carver
Linda is owner and president of Moxie Consulting, Inc. that specializes in training programs, consulting, retreat facilitation and personal coaching. She also serves as adjunct faculty at Pulaski Technical College teaching management development courses. Linda possesses a master's of arts degree from Texas Woman's University, in Denton, TX and a bachelor's of arts from the University of Central Arkansas, Conway.
Ellen Davis
Ellen possesses 17 years of human resource experience encompassing all aspects of HR management ranging from employee development, training, labor relations, and payroll and benefits administration. She has been the HR officers at Gerber Federal Credit Union for the past seven years and is an honors graduate of Davenport University. She obtained her senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2008.
Jennifer S. Dickey, PHR
Jennifer has more than 10 years experience in human resources and management, working primarily with financial institutions. Currently employed as the director of human resources with Community Choice Credit Union, she is responsible for the leadership and execution of human resource policies and educational activities for the credit union involving recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations and communication.
James Fournier
Jim is executive vice president/COO for The Salus Group, a Michigan-based CUSO owned by several credit unions and CUcorp, the league service corporation of the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL). He was previously with MCUL/CUcorp managing The CUCare® Group and was COO of HRValue Group. Jim has a bachelor’s degree from Spring Arbor University and is a licensed insurance agent in the state of Michigan.
Marie McKendall, Ph.D.
Marie is a professor of management in the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University. She teaches and researches in the areas of organizational behavior, human resource management and management skills.
Claudine Oriani
Claudine’s credit union affinity began in 1993. She has worked for an industry software vendor, CUNA Mutual Group and a mid-sized Oregon credit union. She now partners closely with CUNA, state credit union associations/leagues and individual credit unions to develop their greatest asset: human capital.
Heather G. Ptasznik, Esq.
Heather is with the law firm of Kotz, Sangster, Wysocki and Berg, P.C. and has extensive experience in the areas of employment law including defending employers against employment discrimination claims, wrongful termination, defamation, unemployment claims, negligence, administrative claims before the EEOC and MDCR and breach of contract claims. She regularly conducts seminars with and on behalf of trade organizations on various employment law issues.
Autumn Tarquinio, PHR
Autumn has over the last 11 years of experience working with credit unions, with five years focused on the development of team members through her HR & Training role. She has worked with subject matter experts to successfully roll out Community Choice Credit Union’s very own Credit Union University. She has worked with all levels of the organization by being an active member in organizational project teams. Autumn possesses a bachelor’s and master’s degree.
Robin Wybenga
Robin is an MCUL and Affiliates league representative and works with more than 50 credit unions throughout the state. She has held many positions during her 25 years within the credit union industry from being a teller to a CEO. Robin possesses a master's degree in administration from Central Michigan University.
