  • Debit or Credit: Either, Both, Neither,or How Much?: Filene's Study (7/12/10). This research study encourages credit unions to recognize that a complex mix of payments—each attuned to the context and convenience of the purchase—is here to stay.
     
  • Withstanding a Financial Firestorm: Credit Unions vs. Banks: Filene's Report (5/17/10). Comparing the financial stability of banks and credit unions from 1986 to mid-2009, this report describes how credit unions and banks performed during different times.
  • 2010 Online Financial Services Study: Credit Unions vs. Banks Online Experience (5/13/10). ForeSee Results and Forbes Media collaborated to create this report giving a detailed perspective of the consumer experience of online banking. Credit unions beat all types of banks in both online experience and overall trust.
  • Analysis of Member Benefits: MI Credit Unions vs. Banks (Year-end, 2009). CUNA report compares credit union dividend rates, loan rates, and fees to those of banking institutions in Michigan. It combines those comparisons with the state call report data to develop an overall estimate of the annual financial benefits provided to members.
      
  • Financial Outlook Study (3/2010). The study conducted by Market Strategies Int. outlines consumer perceptions of the impact of the economic crisis and government stimulus programs on their personal financial situations. It looks at how Americans’ financial concerns, behaviors and related attitudes have changed in the past year across various demographic groups.
