The 2013 CUNA GAC took place Sunday February 24 – Thursday February 28 at the Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C. The 2013 GAC featured former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, Author and Special Correspondent Tom Brokaw, Author and Journalist Jean Chatzky and former DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe.
MCUL has produced "Live From the CUNA GAC" videos each day of the conference to help keep all credit unions informed:
- Day 1 Video, Story: Michigan delegation arrives in Washington.
- Day 2 Video, Story: Presentations from Bill Cheney, Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, and Condoleezza Rice. David Adams joined executives from Sprint and General Motors to accept the Herb Wegner Memorial Award for Invest in America.
- Day 3 Video, Story: Bill Cheney and Gigi Hyland urge credit unions to be vocal, legislative updates from Sen. Mark Udall, D-Colorado and Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Calif., hill visits began.
- Day 4 Video, Story: Legislative breakfast, Congresswoman Candice Miller, Congressmen Bill Huizenga and Hansen Clarke joined the group to discuss several areas of concern, and hill visits continue.
