David Adams
Dave is CEO of the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates and also provides management services for HR Value Group and League InfoSight. During his credit union career, Dave has held numerous board seats and committee assignments. A native of Utah, he holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Utah and a master's in business administration from Utah State University.  

Michael Bell
Michael is a lawyer who concentrates his practice on real estate development, finance, corporate law and community banking. He regularly advocates for his clients before municipal governments, counties and the State of Michigan, and represents community banks and credit unions through performance of loan documentation and review, workout and foreclosure services, human resource services and contract review and negotiation.

John Kolhoff
John is the deputy commissioner of the credit union division for the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (formerly OFIR) and has been with the organization since 1994. He has held various positions gaining extensive experience in depository institution analysis, information technology, as well as the risk-based examination process. 

Glory LeDu
Glory LeDu is a legislative and regulatory affairs specialist at the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates. Prior to that, she was the director of compliance for CASE Credit Union headquartered in Lansing. She has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry including credit union compliance, broker dealer compliance and investment banking compliance. Glory received her bachelor's of science from Northern Michigan University and a master's of science from Pace University.

Martha Powell
Martha has been a National Credit Union Administration supervisory examiner since 2011. She is responsible for a team of examiners located in Detroit and Lansing who supervise 77 of Michigan’s credit unions. Martha brings 16 years of banking experience to the credit union industry. Her work experience encompasses various safety and soundness risk areas for financial institutions of all sizes and conditions. Her background also includes staff training and development.

John Rupert
John Rupert has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.  His specialties include lending, investments, management, and strategic planning.  He is currently the CEO of Muskegon Co-op Federal Credit Union. He previously worked as a consultant with the Michigan Credit Union League. John is chairman of the Moon Chapter of Credit Unions. He is a graduate of Spring Arbor University.

Amy Smith
Amy brings more than 25 years of banking experience to her leadership position at The Payments Authority, a regional payments association located in Michigan with 350 financial institution and 200+ corporate members. Her prior experience includes electronic product management at Comerica Bank, treasury sales with Continental Bank and marketing/consulting for Arthur Anderson & Co. Amy is an accredited ACH professional and a certified association executive.

  Amy Wargo
Amy has worked in the banking industry for over 18 years, most recently in a credit union environment, with operational experience in compliance/internal audit, lending and training. She is a certified credit union compliance expert and is a trained six sigma champion. Amy provides compliance consulting service through the CUCorp shared staffing program and assists credit unions by reviewing policies and procedures for compliance, recommending and implementing changes, and maintaining credit union compliance.

Shawn Wolbert
Shawn is the director of CU System Relations for CU Solutions Group and is a certified internal auditor and NAFCU certified compliance officer with over ten years of experience in the financial services industry. She helps credit unions respond to the growing regulatory burdens by providing information, education and assistance services. 


Jack Wolf, Ph.D.
Jack is the senior partner of Lifelong Learning Partners located in Bradenton, Florida. A dynamic and highly respected speaker, trainer and consultant, He specializes in the design and delivery of programs that provide performance solutions to clients. For 30 years, he has presented programs on creativity, workplace learning, meeting and training effectiveness and performance improvement. Jack obtained his Ph.D. in management and is a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT).

Robin Wybenga
Robin has held many positions during her 30 plus years within the credit union industry, ranging from being a teller to a CEO. Currently, she serves with the MCUL & Affiliates as a league representative, working with more than 50 Michigan credit unions across the state. Robin has a master's degree in administration from Central Michigan University.
