Dave is the president and chief executive officer of the Michigan Credit Union League, CUcorp and CU Village.com. He also provides management services for two other companies: HR Value Group, a human resources consulting and recruiting company, and League InfoSight, a consortium of state credit union associations providing regulatory compliance technology and content to credit unions nationwide. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Utah and a master's in business administration from Utah State University.
Bill is the editor/publisher of Inside Michigan Politics. He is a former state representative and state senator, an ex-state racing commissioner and director of the Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulation. Mr. Ballenger also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health, Education & Welfare in the administration of President Gerald R. Ford. He holds a bachelor's of arts from Princeton University and a master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Richard is CUNA's senior vice president of political affairs. He possesses over 20 years of experience as a political affairs professional, working on campaign politics, grassroots activation and political operations for three major trade associations.
Jordan is the MCUL director of government affairs. He graduated with a bachelor's of science from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts. Prior to joining the MCUL in September of 2009, Jordan spent five years as a lobbyist for Michigan’s banking industry, managing their grassroots and PAC fundraising programs.
John has worked for the Department of Insurance and Financial Services (formerly OFIR) since 1994 and is the deputy commissioner of the credit union division, responsible for supervising the credit union safety and soundness examinations and information technology examinations for state-chartered credit unions. He holds a bachelor’s of science in business administration from Central Michigan University.
Kieran is MCUL & Affiliates' vice president of Governmental Affairs and previously served as Legislative Affairs manager from 2002-2003. Prior to rejoining MCUL & Affiliates in 2012, he served as legislative counsel for the national Uniform Law Commission (NCCUSL), focusing on legislative issues related to real property, regulations and licensing, elections and trusts. Kieran is a graduate of Michigan State University's James Madison College with a bachelor's of arts in international relations and received his juris doctor magna cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and has served as chair of its Animal Law Section.
Bill was elected as Michigan's 53rd Attorney General in November 2010 and took office January 1, 2011. He has extensive experience in both federal and state government and has served Michigan in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government for three decades. He is a fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University, receiving a bachelor's of science in the foreign service. He also studied at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco. He received an honorary doctorate of law degree from Northwood University.
