Slated for Aug. 20-22 at scenic Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, the 2008 MCUL Executive Summit will feature the golf outing, informative sessions and networking opportunities for credit union leaders that have made this event amount the MCUL's most well received educational events.

Scheduled to speak are Filene Research Institute Executive Director/CEO Mark Meyer; General Motors Chief Economist Mustafa Mohatarem; Dan Mulhern, Michigan's First Gentleman and a nationalyy recognized author, speaker and consultant; and motivational speaker Rob Bell.

Marshall Community CU President/CEO Peggy Day

The sessions cover a variety of informative and inspiring subject matter that will help participants become aware of new trends and excited about returning to their credit union with fresh ideas.

Attendees are encourgage to bring their families, as there will be activities for children at the resort and plenty to see and do in the area.

The Executive Summit typically garners glowing reviews. Consider the testimonial of Marshall Community CU (BC) President/CEO Peggy Day.

"The Executive Summit feels like a national conference, for state conference pricing," Day said.  "It covers relevant and thought provoking information in a venue that allows credit unions leaders to reflect and bond with their peers.

"I come back to work more focused in my role at the credit union", she added.  "This is my No. 1 conference recommendation to other credit union executives."
